true.. i thought that was the case as well.. its about experience and getting your ass kicked to the point of hitting your wall with your fist out of anger.. like larry holmes said.. you have to lose before you can win.. its about learning how to hit the keys. balancing hitting and defence. bringing it all togethor

thats bull. i play with 130ms and have no advantage over those who don't. My punches and defences delay as yours does. Infact, the person who plays with a normal ping usually would have much better reflexes and reactions against those who are used to being slow.
I think lag affects both fighters. For me it only takes a rd or to get use to it and find my range etc.
But the problem is after fighting a slow fight then jumping to some one with good ping the connection seems 100X faster and feels weird and messes my timing up.

True that ^ People sometimes say to me (Flash for example) "you only won because of lag" but I'm going the same speed as him and also when I go on a UK server I adapt to fast connection straight away and actually fight better in it. The only way lag winning me a fight would be an appropirate excuse would be if the fight didn't last more than 1 round, and if you don't last more than 1 round then you'd lose anyway du to you not being good enough to go a round.
lots of people dont understand. you have to lose before you can win. some people on this game could win titles on this game sleep walking. so some guy might join get a terrible record of like 30-200 and then be all mad and quit. when you should just relax look at your flaws and work from there
