"John represents the renaissance of OB. John stepped up and filled the vacuum Fatny left behind. Not only his skills are amazing, also his dedication to keep this game interesting and alive. I was there when he first won the title, I was watching over his shoulder when he bullied all competition, I was there when he became a HOF´er. I may not be a great fighter myself, but I do have eye for talent. John is something special, I told him right after he won his first title. John is the spark that became a flame that turned into a devastating fire. Apart from being a great guy he never stepped down from a challenge and always looked to square off against OB´s best to further improve his skills. Many HOF´ers made short comebacks during the year John reigned OB, only to be knocked out by Big Bad John." - Dick E. Boon
"The thing with John is that he's just so extremely accurate, both in offense and in defense. There's some punches I consider myself a master of, like the small hook and the long upper. Well they're useless against John no matter how well you throw them, he just keeps blocking 90% of them and hurting you in the process. Speaking of which...if he hurts you (and he will), you better move your head a lot because he also happens to be one of the best finishers i've ever seen. Basically if you're not extremely good AND creative, you'll end up on the floor. A fine addition to the hall of fame indeed." - Fatny |

Mikkel wrote:It could probably be done using some of the ways that you describe. Problem is right now I would have to implement all that, and in the meantime OB would be down. But interesting suggestions.
Btw, I dont think most online games save all data on the users harddrive !?
Well I'm glad you like them dude, just thought I'd throw those ideas at you as I've thought about it a few times before now but not said anything.
It would be a lot of work I bet, you would have to basically rewrite most of the application I guess ?
I don't know about the online games saving as I don't play them, I play the odd game of GTA (SA or IV) but I'm mostly busy nowadays so not on the comp much.

All of my punches Mikkel
In all seriousness I think the setting were better lets say 6 months ago. People retired because of the new settings. I know you cant keep everybody happy but more people played with the old settings.
I dont have paypal redneck, I will wire $23 to John via Western Union. John has a paypal account.

The crouching long jab and crouching left jab should be taking down and the Hook should be taking down by alot. Theres no way a guy should take a fighters full head energy out with 1 hook while he has 60% punching power. That would make the settings perfect. I won my game today 34-22. I had 3 sacks and 6 tackles. I was playing QB at the end and they somehow got a safety on me even tho I was about 5 yards away from their endzone. Boon my dad is going to get the money from the western union place right now.

Don't worry about the time, were in a very good time. I'll look at the settings you proposed and see what makes most sense.

Theres not much too change besides the jabs and crouching jabs. and that long hook. Too much power. Watch 1 of edders fights and see what I mean
1 Hook takes down 80% of your health with about 50-60% punching power. Just examples
