Thoughts please? yes i know about my chin sticking out i was trying to bury my head in his chest cause hes alot bigger i didnt want him to outbox me lol i was also puttin my head down alot too but anyway tell us what u think.
He was making it hard for me when i was in close he kept tryin to uppercut me lol u cant see it on the vid cause of the angle.
I did 4 rounds and this was my worse plus i had no gum shield in but he could hit me in the head so i think thats why i was so tight in defence wel tryin to be lol and i cudnet hit him in the head only body.
Just remember im stil a newbie i been boxing only 9 months.

Not bad I see some good movements here..it looks as if a good choice of style for you is moving around and boxing.
You had some good head movements in the beginning of the round then completely forgot about them. It looked as if you copied something
but really didnt truly know how to use it, though it looks as if you could
learn it pretty easily.
People often dont know when and how and even WHY to use head movements, though its pretty simple:right after any kind of attack you always accompany it by an evasive move. Example, you throw a hard right hand, weave to the left..or if you throw four light punches in combo, weave to the opposite side that ends the combo, example right hand ends it, weave to the left ..left hands ends it, weave to the right. Keep your hands up when u weave of course. From that stance you can continue with counters. Important thing is, after each attack, evade..you can weave, often when ur close, or dance away, either side to side or back.
Also when you circle your opponent you can combine it with headmovements, to comfuse him and set him up for counters.
Nothing wild, but keep him guessing all the time.
Just dont stand there waiting for him to retaliate, thinking that you can block whatever he throws, because that is impossible and will get you knocked out.

Many trainers would probably tell you not to use this or thatt, but remember you have to use the things that feel natural an easy to you, and avoid the things that doesnt feel natural.
Like if a trainer tells you to slug slug slug and you feel better bouncing around, do that instead. Its often something you can feel right away.

Your body punches looks ok though your not putting a lot into them. What if you stepped with them as well ?

You throw your jab kind of half hearted like you dont really believe in it and are afraid of his counters, except the very first one (i think). You kind of turn away, leaving your chin exposed. If your going to throw a jab, either step straight into him or move directly to one side, not half and half.

I think you make an obvious error looking at his belly instead of his hand or chest and I dont understand why he dont correct that because you cant see whats coming your way.
If you watch Tyson he always looks at his opponents face or chest, never down at the floor.

Often in boxing you find fighters are doing something that they saw another fighter doing, without really understanding what is behind that and why it is useful.
In that case you can often imitate it it and it will look right, but as soon as you get under any form of pressure you can't use it..
In the case with the head movements, that you probably have from watching someone like tyson or frazier, you need to know exactly when to use them and when not to..it seems that you have some natural abilities using head movements so it might be something to build upon.

Hey Reap, some nice work in there. I like your commitment to body punching and keeping ¥our hands up pretty well.

The only comments I would make as a spectator, is to use angles when you punch to the body. 99% of that was your head buried in his chest and nonstop hooks with your arms by your waist. If you would just slow down a bit, move to each side and throw hard(er) hooks with one hand while your other hand still protects your cheek, that may help more in the long run. Eventually, you will get in there with a fighter who can easily read you because you're so squared up.

The other thing is I would recommend using feints. There were numerous times where your partner could have dropped you with a counter right hand because you just fell in with yours. Feint a little, move to the side and then come in. Mix your movements up and make sure you head movement is with purpose and not just for show.

Otherwise, good job.

Pretty good, your chin is always tucked in and your looking as my trainer says "through your eyebrows" which is good, I can't see you getting picked off like. However your punches are very slow, you wouldn't be surprising anyone with shots but I can imagine you'll could wear someone out after a while with your sort of bully style. Also you don't move your head enough on the outside, if you want to get inside and catch someone your going to have to move your head around more and then quickly get in with some big shots, especially at your weight I think it will be hard to box with that style. My thoughts are work on your speed, sharper movement so you can use your power punches efficiently, and also mix your punched up, I don't remember seeing 1 right cross, just jab then in with hooks. Also stepping across would help a lot, you are just standing and digging to the body, you need to start stepping across every now and then and hitting the body in the center then side ect.

Hey Oscar. Been a while.

Now I am giving you respect for two things: 1 . for actually training and 2. not just talking about training while gaining fat because so many people talk about this and that when it comes to really training but never actually do anything.

this being said here is what your boxing looks like:

The Bad: (just saying like it is)

1. You are slow. You need to work on speed. You can improve but speed is also somewhat inherited so you can only go so far with training.

2. You lack power. With your little mass and lack of speed it will be hard to generate REAL power but with proper technique you can at least deliver some.

The Good: (just saying like it is)

3. You look ok for a beginner

4. You are actually training and that is a good thing

The Ugly: (jmust saying like it is)

5. Charging in you head low like that is asking to get KTFO.

6. First you moved rather ok but then stiffed up being stationary target.

HOWEVER

the main thing and all that matters is that you are training so keep up teh good work and keep training.

- OB Accounts: Rocky Marciano plus too many alts

- Status: Retired for now. Logs on every now and then just to troll.

- OB Class: A+++++ Elite and yes you got it right a FIVE STAR Elite.

- Goals: Been there, seen that, done it all so none other than reaching 1000 fights (on an alt) with above 90% win percentage I have been hunting after ever since joining OB2D.

- Titles won: too many to remember

- Title defenses: too many to remember

- Best win streak 132 wins in a row in total.

- Style: Very technical when needed to. Other than that force ko for the win!

- Signature Punch: The Rocky Marciano combo (now also available without french fries).

- Signature Taunt: Letting opponent recover back to full healt before KOing him for good.

- Weakness: Fatny, the king of OB2D

- Career highlights: Been there and done it all but yes there is one little thing that rises above all titles and such: making Reaper quit after I tkoed him 16 times in a row all inside first two rounds. We were supposed to box 100 times

- Quotes: "I just TKoed you 16 times in a row Reaper. What's the matter? Can not make is past first two rounds? Did I make you quit? Why so silent all of sudden? Oh I just made you STFU "

- Stupid nickname given by other players: Mini Fatny.

- Words of wisdom: Styles make fights. Sometimes even HOF caliber fighters lose to inferior boxers due to this fact. Everyone has their rythm and once you get inside that rythm, you will make life hell for that person (in the ring).

- PS. All signatures are stupid.
