Will OB turn pay again?

What do you guys think. It has it pros and cons! People say it wouldnt work and the game would die.... thats what the new players say but in the time I was here I played through both free and pay versions.

Pay version did pretty good I think.. It got rid of alot noobs( if thats what you want to call them).

And I still remember getting tons of fights. I am not so sure a payed version of OB would help out right now because it seems like OB is low enough. But in the future i'd like to see OB pay 2 play...

Not because I think there is to many jerks/alts. But because I think Mikkel deserves to atleast have the server cost payed without him diping into his pocket.

I have brought that up in the past and alot of people said... many games are free blahblah.. and how much could a server like ob cost.

in reality it could cost alot. a server capable of running a game and handling high bandwidth/traffic can get very expensive.

But with that being said I think people need to appreciate Mikkel more. He devotes his time to making this game better and more fun for the players while working a job. I am not speaking for every OBER but many people abuse the game and disrespect Mikkel.

I am not preaching I just would like for once for OB to come together and strive for a better gaming experience. With boxing there is smack talk,Egos,and jerks. Thats fine... but in the end its a game and a fight is just a fight. So all the alter egos and immaturity aside lets try to work together and at the same time have fun kicking each others asses.

I would suggest to make OB3D pay to play and keep OB2D free. In anyway the player base is not big enough, at least at the moment, to support pay to play (some people would be cheap and quit making the pbase even smaller and it is already almost too small).

In my opinion OB is a great game but we need to market this game more and let more people come to it, if Mikkel starts chargin a fee there will be many people that will just overlook the game.. I have been also like u HTF through the paying and non-paying era but this is different there arnt as many players today to charge them...

Just my humble opinion, thx Mikkel for this game truly has changed the way i spend my days after work..

A great way to support the server is the way SFO did it: Keep the donations, however, if you donate, you are given more upgrades for your character (more colors to choose from, styles, tattoos etc). The upgrades should be useable for a month or two. If the person still wants the upgrades, they will have to pay again.

Maybe you all should approach ob like i do when it comes to elections. If you do not donate, then u should never EVER bitch about the gameplay or how Mikkel goes about maintaining and updating HIS GAME. Rocky the donation tab only works if people actually donate..

lol well, i've been trying. It's kinda hard, being 15 and having no source of income and no credit card, to donate money. The only possible way i could donate is through my mobile- but since i can't do that, it's impossible for me to donate money.

Along with many other people Ray, which why P2P would effectively kill OB. Even when it was pay, people would just create new accounts when their trial ran up. Look at how many accounts Fatny has. Funny how HTF says/does a lot of things to hurt OB. Like constantly suggesting it becomes p2p despite the fact he never donates. Or vacating titles giving work to Mikkell and pretty much pissing everyone off after we finally got the titles back.

What have you ever done for OB apart from moan a lot ?

Asking the players to give something back to Mikkel is trying to hurt OB, that doesn't make sense to me.

This has just showed me you havnt been along enough to know what the hell you are talking about.

Its not about alts and alts where not a problem because Mikkel had the free trial worked out and it was fine. Yea I would like to donate some but havnt got around to it. As far as supportng OB ive done it sense I started I also payed for all the years I played not to discredit players who have helped me out.

Ive also bought memberships for people aswell.

The problem is you dont like the idea of pay to play so your getting negative.

as far as the vacating goes. I didnt vacate this last time I dont know what happen! In the past yes its a option to use so I used it. Maybe it takes weeks for Mikkel to set titles up but thats by his choice not by mine.

Selfish people cant chose or people who beg.

just to add some thing else aswell i am not suggesting... I am just saying i wouldnt mind it.
