So I started OB2D again.

Also, I'll dedicate some time for tweakings..

So give me your suggestions, but no flaming.

I lost 20 pounds the last few days, thank God I can eat again.

About changes: if you hit somebody over and over again you get tired yourself but the guy receiving all the punishment doesnt lose his stamina one bit. I think you should change that a little.

Another change is that the game has become a punchers game. Outboxing somebody is extremely difficult if not impossible. The power shots have too much power.

Ok changed a few things

1) Punches are less powerful
2) Rounds are shorter
3) You lose stamina when hit

Since OB2D resurrected, I am resurrected as well and out of retirement, but I have to still play on a limited basis. I hope this move brings more players back.

For suggestions

Balance the power and stamina, and has to be equal.
If you spam/punch too much, you'll lose a lot stamina
make the jab a hittable punch.
Not just spam/slug fest. Bring a variety of styles for each fighter.

Changes are good. I was playing on a alt just for testing purposes.

YES! Just had my first fight again and stopped Rocky in 2. It will be interesting to see if with the new settings John can be so dominant as before. We might be in for a surprise!

It looks like it fits him even better, so I wouldnt get my hopes up.

Ps. You should know better anyway. I dont exactly have a habit of boxing you due to your bad ping with exception being those rare times you can get it below 180.

this all being said I suppose I am going to have to log on to check these new changes to the game. It sounds it has become playable again.

Aka the game is circa 2006. Got to do a few once I get a comp.

I just boxed my first match for a long time. These new settings look ok. This being said unfortunately I will most likely not be playing. I moved so no more university provided super connection. My new connection is also fast but my PC died and I bought a new laptop, which is what I needed anyway. So no more table top computer for me and boxing on a laptop just sucks a lot.

and just to Mikkel: yes now I can install OB3D since I no longer need admin rights from the University to do it.
