Tonight in the PDP arena two combatants met in the ring to draw the curtain on theri impeciple trilogy. Both were in the best shape of their lives, and both had one thing , and one thing only on their minds - A brutal KO victory to show who really is the better fighter_. This was becuase their first two fights were soiled by contreversy and neither depicted who truley was the better fighter. The Assassin chose to come off a multiple month layoff of inactivity with absolutly no tune up fights and go directly toward the proclaimed "PDP PHENOM" Mikkel Kessler in a triliogy rightfull title "No Excuses" to show that he is once and for all the better fighter. The various pundits and even his fellow PDP fighter writ off the Assassin claiming that he was in over is head and was just too rusty to keep up with the furious pace Kessler brings in to the ring night after night on a regular basis. In theearly rounds it seemed that the heavy under dog, Kessler, was heading for a win to cap off the night since he was repeadetly beating the Assassin to the punch and round after round simply outworking his American opponent. As thr rounds wore on Kessler began to slow down considerably since he acknowledged that he had the fight in the bag, but the Assassin had other plans, sensing that he was behind and needed a KO to win he decided to throw his defence out of the window and go after his man. Kessler was dancing on his toes trying to avoid getting into much of a fight, while the usually defencing Assassin was stalking and throwing nothing but power shots....It was a classiuc role reversal, the raging bull kessler becoming a swift gazzel, and the agile Assassin becoming the bull. By the 10th the British crowd were all on its feet cheering their countryman on as he smilled and seemed to be over confident, just then the Assasin landed a quick and devastating combination that wobbled Kesslers legs. He shook it off and wanted Assassin to pay, but he ended up paying for it himself, since as he walked the Assassin down into a corner left hook follwed by another one for good measure. He was out before he hit the floor....a cappacity british crowed silent the ref proceeded to count kessler 1..2...3...4,5,6,7,8,9....10...It was all over Kessler could not beat the count he was out cold laid flat out on his face. The Assassin had done it he had won the trilogy and the respect of the pundits. An upset and emotionally devastated Kessler had been KOed in his home town and he quickly rushed off to his dressing room as the Assassin celebrated in the ring. Finally it had happened a fight between Assassin and Kessler ending by a clean Knockout without contreversy.
After the fight Larry Merchant interviewed the Assassin in the ring and interviewed the Assassin oh his win, where African Assassin claimed that he has not made up his mind, and would consider fighting one last time for the PDP belt. Kessler on the other hand was interviewed from his dressing room holding back tears he stated that he became overconfident, and wasn't expecting to lose this fight. He claimed to have trained for this fight harder than any other fight and thought he was in controll of most of the fight before the knockout. When asked about his future plans he stated that he was devastated by this loss and its brutal nature, and would have to go back to the drawing board to reassemble his career that was now in shambells.
With this fight PDPs first ever trilogy is complete, and when asked both fighters claimed that even though it is technically over they both feel that there is still unfinished business between the two and that maybe sometime down the road they would meet again. No matter what happens in the future it is clear that the African Assassin closed the show in style with an emphatic and spectacular knockout win.

It was in fact Kessler who won the trilogy 2-1. But you did win this one by stunning knock out so well done!
Like I promised...the winner of this fight will get a PDP title shot in PDP 12. So African Assassin will fight either Red Viper or Captain America for the title in the next PDP event!!! Mikkel Kessler will fight the loser of Red Viper/Captain America fight!!!
Both of these fights will be very nice indeed!

That really was a sweet double left hook AA ...lmao...I have watched the 10th round a few times because I love the timing of the double hook...it's perfect to the second as Kessler was in the process of uppercutting then BOOM... Kessler was way ahead on the score cards too...but because of one well timed double hook...it changed everything! THAT'S BOXING!

Your rght it is officially 2-1, but you knew what the circumstances were. The first two fights were pretty contreversal since while Kessler got the wins in both, but both fights froze so we never saw what would have happened had the fights not froe, and that was the point of us fighting a third fight rightfully titled "No Excuses". Im known to pick up the pace after the second half of the fight, and I never had the opportunity to display my skills in those fighs beause they froze while I was doing my best work. All in all it is 2-1 but this is the only fight with an official ending, an emphatic KO win tht ended it wthout a freeze. Anyways i see what your saying but keep that in mind. BTW great fight Kessler you're a warrior and for the first time you were really outboing me and your defence has iproved by a lot I actually found it very hard to hit you cleanly, but once again when you felt comfortable you let your guard down and left yourself open to getting countred. And yes I still feel like we have unfinished business!
