The Great Yacoob has noticed there's no tutorial at all as in to how to play this game so i took it upon myself to make one of my own. Mikkel please consider making this tutorial and putting My name, The Great Yacoob by it. Thanks

These easy and realiable instructions are based off of the NUMERICAL KEYPAD

The Instructions are divided by Character Meters, Defense, Outside Boxing, Inside Boxing, Boxing while Crouching, Countering, and The Final Thought

CHARACTER Meters: Manual Page 0

These are the 4 GREEN BARS of energy that are connected to your fighter. Paying attention to these bars can make the difference between winning or losing

Each of these bars are GREEN which start out as FULL GREEN at the beginning of each fight and go down according to how much damage your fighter endures.

COLORS - Your health constantly recovers at a SET RATE and goes down everytime you take damage

1. Green - Good Health -
2. Red - Bad Health - Need to Recover or take a risk and fight your way out of red while recovering

Bar 1: Head Energy - A meter that shows you different levels as you take damage to the head
Bar 2: Body Energy - A meter that shows you different levels as you take damage to the body
Bar 3: Punching Power - A meter that goes down for every punch you throw. The farther down it goes the less damage your punches will affect your opponent, the higher up it is the more damage you will deal to your opponent.
Bar 4: Stamina - A meter that represents your fighters level of fatigue. The lower it goes the harder it is for your fighter to recover and take punches. The higher it is the better performance your fighter will display and be able to go the distance with your opponent.

The Great Yacoob will teach you how to do offense and defense and what punches are heavy, medium, and light and what can counter them so pay close attention or get slapped for ONE MILLION DOLLARS!

DEFENSE: Instructions Manual Page 1

Blocking is very easy in this game sort of like streetfighter but even easier. Blocking is done automatically for you as far as the head defense from outside punches and body punches. This is very wise to use so that your fighter can avoid being punched

1. When your opponent holds his hands up he can block all outside punches
Can Be Countered by: Underhand Uppercuts, Heavy Hooks, Uppercuts, and Inside Hooks, and Side Jabs

2. Body Defense - Done automatically by having your fighter drop his hands to his body will protect against ALL BODY PUNCHES but it puts your head in danger of being punched so mix it up

3. Inside Head Defense - This is when you fold your arms to block all inside power punches to the head by Upperctus, Upperhand Uppercuts, Heavy Hooks, and Inside Hooks
Can Be Countered By: ALL BODY PUNCHES
To do this defense: Press and Hold 1

4. Dodging - This defense is used to completely avoid being touched by your opponents punches altogether. This evasion is used by your opponent moving his head and body side to side which can be frustrating for your opponent.
Button to push: Hold 5 and push and hold either forward > or backwards <

When you hold backwards your fighter dodges to the left and that avoids the following punches: The overhand right, the body jab, Rapid Fury Punches, Rapid Body Punches, Underhand Uppercut, Body Hook, Quick Body Jab, and the Body Uppercut

When you Hold Forward your opponent dodges to right and that avoids the following punches: The Left Jab, Heavy Hook, Rapid Fury Punches, Rapid Body Punches, Uppercuts, Inside Hooks, and the body jab

Note: Moving forwards and backwards in different rythms confuses your opponents so that you become more unexpected. Do not rely on blocking by itself because good footwork is also a GREAT DEFENSE MECHANISM for staying out of harms way and not being touched at all by PUNCHES!!

Note: All Punches take a toll on your fighters stamina and Punching power so use your punches wisely

BOXING FROM THE OUTSIDE: Instructions Manual Page 2

All outside punches can be countered if you step in before they land the punches on you or if you block them and step in

1. Left Jab - Light Punch - ( Very effective at lowering your opponents head energy and countering all power punches from the inside such as Uppercuts, Underhand Uppercuts, and Heavy Hooks.)
Button To Push: 9

2. Overhand Right (Right Jab) - Heavy Punch - (Very powerful at scoring Knockouts and countering Uppercuts, Underhand Uppercuts, Heavy Hooks, and the Left Jab)
Button To Push: Ctrl 9

3. Body jab - Light Punch (This is good at draining body energy slowly but if you counter any of your opponents Heavy Hooks, Uppercuts, Underhand Uppercuts, Left Jabs, and Overhand Rights, this will drain your opponents body energy significantly. Be careful though against the jab punches beacuse they can sever your head if you do not time the body jab accurately.
Button To Push: 3

4. Heavy Hook - Heavy Punch - (USE WITH CAUTION - this will devastate either YOU or your Opponent depending on how the situation goes. If you catch your opponent with this hook and you have full punch power two hooks can Knock them out. If you're countered while hooking you can get knocked out by one punch at times - Ctrl 1

5. Lean Back (Evades jabs, Overhand Rights, and Hooks) - 7
To punch while leaning back in case your opponent tries to hit you push - 9 (This doesn't do too much damage because it's mainly a tap to the face that keeps them at bay but can be effective if your opponents head energy is in red because it can score a knockdown

6. Rapid Fury Punches - Medium Punch (A rapid punch of left and right that's good for breaking through your opponents defense for points they do damage if done correctly and can score you a knockdown) - Push Ctrl and >
on your numerical keypad

BOXING INSIDE - Instruction Manual Page 3
This is when fights usually get real dangerous and bloody and most times boxing matches turn into all out brawls.

These punches can break through the Outside defense which is when the fighter has both hands Upwards protecting his face

1. Uppercuts - - Heavy Punch This is a very good punch that can be used repeatedly that will surprise your opponent if used when it's least expected.
Button To Push: Ctrl 8 or Ctrl Up

2. Underhand Uppercut - - Heavy Punch This punch is devastating for a lot of fighters and i've seen it used in many instances to Knockout opponents. This punch is usually used as a step-in punch and is a good counter against Hooks and Uppercuts
Button To Push: Ctrl 7

3. Inside Hook - Heavy Punch - This punch is probably one of the smallest looking punches in the game but does OUSTANDING DAMAGE and EVEN KNOCKS OUT opponents on occassions. This is the last opportunity to get a punch in when an opponent tries to get you into a clinch.
Button To Push Ctrl 3

4. Body Hook- Heavy Punch - This punch is very powerful and is good when used in accordance with the Inside hook because it keeps your opponent from getting you into a clinch.
Button To Push: Ctrl 2

5. The Body Rapid Punches - Medium Punch - This is when your fighter does a rapid body punch that can drain an opponents body like water going down a drain. when your opponent crouches and tries to run into you this punch can devastate your opponent. If it's used early enough when your opponent is standing and tries to walk into you and you can dodge his punches the rapid will give him hell
Button To push: Ctrl < back

BOXING WHILE CROUCHING - Instruction Manual Page 4
Very good at ducking STANDING PUNCHES but can be bad for when your opponent uses the Body Hook and the body jab, or goes down with you to take it to the crouch position

1. Quick Body Jab - Light Punch - (This is one of the safest ways to punch your opponent while not getting hit and do great body damage. The body jab is good at countering the left jab, the overhand right, and all other standing punches
Button To Push - Ctrl 9

2. The Crouching Body Jab- Light Punch - This punch is good at stopping your opponent from coming into a clinch while crouching or from getting in close while crouching to do a body uppercut. It is also a good body jab that is quick so it can help you avoid being hit by heavy hits
Button To Push - 9

3. Right Hand Body Punch - Heavy Punch - This punch is devastating a extremely effective for scoring knockouts or damaging your opponents body. It's also good in using in a combination for a Heavy Hook to go upstairs to the head of your opponent. It is also a Slow punch so be careful, because it puts you in danger everytime you do it of being hit.
Button To Push - 3

4. The Body Uppercut - Heavy Punch - Like the Inside Hook, this punch is devastating and extremely sneaky. It's another punch that is good as a last punch before a clinch. Can be used in combination with the inside hook to go downstairs and body uppercut or you can body uppercut and go upstairs to hit the head with an inside hook.

The Final Thought

This Manual is the Bible to you learning how to become a proficient online boxing fighter. This manual will be a good starters kit for those of you who are just starting your careers, a good way to help those of you who've been fighting for a short period of time to refine your skills, and even for those of you who have been playing for years to recall what you may have forgotten

Yacoob or better known as The Great Yacoob is the most controversial fighter in online boxing history. Hailing from The Shaolin Temple in China, Never has anyone had such a large audience of fans both attendants and fighters alike.
The Great Yacoob started out as a simple fighter like most fighting their way to become champion but after a few losses, The Great Yacoob began to unleash his frustration through witty insults, Comedy, and in ring entertainment that caused an uproar in the beginning, but soon made him the most famous and iconic online boxing fighter of all time.
His first feud started with Couture he called Penis Sniff Couture online boxing's male underwear sniffing mascot that spawned his first series of quotes such as, "I JUST MADE YOUR ASS FAMOUS", "NEXT TIME TRAIN HARDER SO THE ASS WHIPPIN LASTS LONGER", "KNOW YOUR PLACE AND EAT YOUR YACOOB FLAKES PART OF A SLAPPING GOOD BREAKFAST", HALELUJAH YACOOB HAS SPOKEN, ALL WORDS ARE FINAL" and many more....The Great Yacoob became an idol, a representative of The Online Boxing World filling seats with his presence and charismatic persona. During times of Online Boxings decline The Great Yacoob was responsible on many occasions to boost ratings, revive the excitement, and utterly save the business countless times in times of economic hardship.
The Great Yacoob's first title victory came by way of Defeating Fernando Vargas for the North American title on Two occassions. The Great Yacoob's championship glory was short lived and soon after he founded a new friendship with a good friend and later rival Serious Business forming the first ever group in the business called the Drama Clique. Never before had any two individuals ever stirred up as much trouble and rivalries as these two. After years of friendship the two fell out and the rivalry lasted over a year of heated battles both suffering losses and prevailing in victories. The Great Yacoob's fame overshadowed Serious Businesse's when he went on to win his first World Championship, the OBW title against Sugar Ray who shortly regained the title back in a rematch and defeated The Great Yacoob in back to back defenses. The Great Yacoob was counted out as a loser but regained his footing when he began reestablishing his prominence through psychological warfare that was only mastered by the one and only Muhammed Ali. The Great Yacoob's sold out events surpassed all the greats including Hall Of Famers. The Great Yacoob's losses outweighed his victories and it seemed his career was at a loss until he defeated Felix Trinidad for the South American title and did the same against TooSmooth. The Great Yacoob had the greatest rivalries of all time with the most fighters of all time ranging from his first Couture, Serious Business, Red Viper whom he fought a record 200 times, Nigel Benn whom he defeated for the OBA Championship, Unstoppable whom he defeated for the OBA Championship, Ken Norton, Black Bear, Ray Johnson, Mikkel (The Owner), Don King Promotions (The President), Squeezed Head, King Chopper, and more. The Great Yacoob was also the founding member and leader of the legendary, The Black Fist Family that was a leauge of fighters competing against the cunning and powerful Pound For Pound Gym headed by Rocky Marciano. Both Gyms defeated one another respectively and the war lasted a long 6 months.
Later The Great Yacoob began to have emotional breakdowns and alcoholic problems and began losing not only fights but his inspiration and confidence in fighting. He retired countless times returning only to lose more fights as his ratings fell but never his respect nor his fans. The Great Yacoob returned again only to dissipate for his longest absence in 2010 and than later returned in 2011.
Upon his return his victories became prominent once again as he rose to the ranks eventually defeating the most dominant fighter A Punching Bag for the OBF Title. It was short lived after he lost his title to the TRPCHE but a month later he reclaimed his glory defeating Poyo562 and having a 21 win streak and 14 defenses thus far The Great Yacoob met his match Mr. Goat in a non title bout losing but came back to defeat him 4 times. Later he suffered a multitude of losses to The Sniper, whom beat him for the OBF Title but lost it 24 hours later to A Punching Bag. The Great Yacoob refusing to quit fought A Punching Bag for the OBF Championship winning it against him making it the second time A Punching Bag handed him the belt. After his showdowns The Great Yacoob made a vow to The Celibate Lifestyle of a Monk and refused to ignite his showboating ego for the entertaining of the masses any longer. Currently fresher than ever and more powerful of a fighter nobody can ever deny the historical, spiritual, hilarious, and emotional journey and career of this young man known as The Great Yacoob.

Hey Yacoob I got to give you lot of credit for this manual.

Very good job!

- OB Accounts: Rocky Marciano plus too many alts

- Status: Retired for now. Logs on every now and then just to troll.

- OB Class: A+++++ Elite and yes you got it right a FIVE STAR Elite.

- Goals: Been there, seen that, done it all so none other than reaching 1000 fights (on an alt) with above 90% win percentage I have been hunting after ever since joining OB2D.

- Titles won: too many to remember

- Title defenses: too many to remember

- Best win streak 132 wins in a row in total.

- Style: Very technical when needed to. Other than that force ko for the win!

- Signature Punch: The Rocky Marciano combo (now also available without french fries).

- Signature Taunt: Letting opponent recover back to full healt before KOing him for good.

- Weakness: Fatny, the king of OB2D

- Career highlights: Been there and done it all but yes there is one little thing that rises above all titles and such: making Reaper quit after I tkoed him 16 times in a row all inside first two rounds. We were supposed to box 100 times

- Quotes: "I just TKoed you 16 times in a row Reaper. What's the matter? Can not make is past first two rounds? Did I make you quit? Why so silent all of sudden? Oh I just made you STFU "

- Stupid nickname given by other players: Mini Fatny.

- Words of wisdom: Styles make fights. Sometimes even HOF caliber fighters lose to inferior boxers due to this fact. Everyone has their rythm and once you get inside that rythm, you will make life hell for that person (in the ring).

- PS. All signatures are stupid.
