Is Reaper overrated?

Not that he is a bad fighter, but people (usually class D+C fighters) seem to think he is an A class fighter with amazing skills. I'd say he is a good B class fighter and can defend himself well in a fight.

TKO posted this. By that he is assuming Reaper is better then everyone except for Larry and Fatny. Well, I have beaten Reaper recently many times & Red Viper can easily KO me. Rocky can also TKO me. Therefore Rocky and Viper are third and fourth while i'm 5th. However, that brings a list of about 20 people who beat us three. Putting reaper just making it into the top 30.

Oscar De La Hoya and Reaper are equal in skill, by saying reaper is 3rd, Oscar is also third. No offence to oscar, but i doubt it since he knows all A and most B class fighters can beat him.

The Grim Reaper Left Hook
Reaper, when he started, has made great KO's against elite fighters who have played over years. He named his hook, 'The grim reaper right hook', and used it everywhere. Many people thought this was luck, I can tell you that's probably correct. In his fights, he hook spammed and won meaning he kept hooking until he got the double hit. This is fine as many many noobs have done it before including myself.

Reaper's head
It's big. Reaper boasted so much when he began, he also ducked and insulted A and B class fighters about being hooked by him, "You have been playing longer and you were hooked by a C class fighter, what does that say about your class" is what he said to me when he wasn't even a C class fighter. He also did not accept rematches but would continue to boast even after his opponent said, "gf. nice hook", he carried on boasting.

Not so bad
I don't hate reaper, just the stuff that came out of his mouth when he started. He has improved a lot since then and has learnt to rematch and accept when he has won by luck. I just think too many C class fighters are overrating him. Reaper is clearly the best newcomer.

Maybe he is top three active who knows. You are only as good as your last fight I always think so it doesn't really matter.

What I do know is that if you got all the dudes like Cynic, Unstop, DD etc back for a week or so then all these guys that think they are actually top ten material and not just active top ten material, well these guys would get put in their place big time.

I wouldn't rank him top 3.

There are guys I would rate above him including myself. I am currently training him as I think he has skills to make some future noise. However, right now based on what I have seen in fighting him, I would rate him a generous C+, B-.

He has some work to do.

*btw, is Red Viper getting good these days? I feel like I am missing something? If so, good for him...

I think right now OB is in rebuilding mode. alot of the past elites are no longer around. So alot of new players are filling voids.

Red Viper is good. Top 20 for sure. Best attack in the game, probably equal with fatny's but i dislike his up & down defence method.

i was messin about ray johnson and anyone can beat anyone i have my bad days and my good days thats how it goes no need to make a whole thread about it.
Also you talking about the noob reaper just remember how long i been playing i have to admit that was me a month ago having fun but i dont do all that no more and at the moment im giving a class fighters good fights e.g. tiger uppercut koed him a few days ago / gave blackred a great fight and many more im not the best ive just improved alot.
Its like i cant lose no more without being called over rated geez i even beat flash once yesturday and i was having a bad day.

Most active and Players which play the most are the same thing man.

But my point was "you're only ever as good as your last fight, so who knows".

The point is that it was the ACTIVE rankings. I agree if people such as Unstoppable and Tyson and HTF were back people like me and Reaper would drop right down but they arn't active.

wel ray i jus fought u 3 times i beat u first time lost second and had a great all out war with you on the 3rd and i beat htf twice in a row a second ago the first time was legit so you cant say im very underrated huh?

its a pity tho we had ivandrago talking shit about me on the chat so we both got distracted alot i made a few more mistakes then u did.

Yeah Reaper, great fights. I have to admit, you aren't as bad as i thought but i also have to agree with oscar. It will take a long time for us to reach the HOF stage or even A class, even if we are active top 10.

all we need to do is beat fatny then you will take his confidence away then it will be alot easier to win against him again.
i did that to someone then they never fought me again cause they said i took there confidence away.
i came back from 4 knockdowns to 0 to tko him my style is like diego corrales even if i get koed i want to make a great fight so dont think you winning cause you have more knockdowns

i almost always put up a good fight when im losing.
