Is there any requirements to becoming a HOF'er?
example: Super Champ, over 100 titles won, over 200 defences
something like that

"John represents the renaissance of OB. John stepped up and filled the vacuum Fatny left behind. Not only his skills are amazing, also his dedication to keep this game interesting and alive. I was there when he first won the title, I was watching over his shoulder when he bullied all competition, I was there when he became a HOF´er. I may not be a great fighter myself, but I do have eye for talent. John is something special, I told him right after he won his first title. John is the spark that became a flame that turned into a devastating fire. Apart from being a great guy he never stepped down from a challenge and always looked to square off against OB´s best to further improve his skills. Many HOF´ers made short comebacks during the year John reigned OB, only to be knocked out by Big Bad John." - Dick E. Boon
"The thing with John is that he's just so extremely accurate, both in offense and in defense. There's some punches I consider myself a master of, like the small hook and the long upper. Well they're useless against John no matter how well you throw them, he just keeps blocking 90% of them and hurting you in the process. Speaking of which...if he hurts you (and he will), you better move your head a lot because he also happens to be one of the best finishers i've ever seen. Basically if you're not extremely good AND creative, you'll end up on the floor. A fine addition to the hall of fame indeed." - Fatny |

Idk i'm going from memory, with larry he's the one who gave me the most trouble all the time i've been at the top.
Basically what i'm saying is he's been the best and has the most skills of everyone that isin't in the HOF. And skill-wise he's on par with unstop and probably better then a few of the old HOF guys that i never saw and don't really know about.
If he's unworthy because he constantly lost to me or htf or larry holmes then everyone else is far from being worthy and this thread is very useless.

Yes, because he almost has 4000 more wins than losses. that shows he has been here awhile and he has shown dedicance to the game. he hasnt dominated but look at who he would have to dominate, fatny, sal, larry holmes, and vargas, 3/4 are in the hall of fame. he also has one of the best, if not the best, k0 ratio in the game.
i vote YES put him in.

i havent seen red fight recently as ive not played this game for quite a while now but i say YES because i think for someone to be dedicated to this game for the amount of time that red has surely deserves HOF some of u will say hes not the best but i dont think thats what HOF is all about remember there is always someone better on ob all depends on the day and how rusty u are but in my eyes i see red as a true HOF player and tbh thought he was allready in HOF !

Well i cant decide eiather but dick and fatny does have a point, but you also have to recognize when red's in his mode he doesnt lose and even though he hasnt be dominant for a period of time he still has done some thing alot of great fighters like Skills,Rocky, gold, chopper, chrille (soon to be HOF'er) haven't done None of those fighters have as many titles won defences.
Yes his style is a little easy to beat but when he's on there is no answer. He has blazing quickness, a quick reaction time, he did get most votes for wouded tiger and that is very true but he does have qualities some HOF'ers might not see.
When someone talks shit and he responds to them by saying lets fight when he's put on the spotlight and everyone is watching he doesn't disapoints and im not only talking about noobs but vets and those in between as well.
All ima say considering i've only played for about a year and a half time and really don't know red vipers legacy. Is time can only tell when he shows when he should be without a doubt that he should be a HOF'er

Nah Fatny, I was only trying to point out that Vargas isnt giving you that much of a test as you ko him all the time. But it is true that for the guys fighting in the Fatny era, it is harder to be on top than a few years back.

he has a solid record, a decent amount of titles and a decent amount of defences BUT... he has never dominated. He is far too inconsitent and he is never the top dog playing. The hof is the best. imo vargas, benn and black bear would have to be in before viper

wtf the fuck does it hav to do with DOMINATING,everybody going on and on about "to be in the HOF u hav to dominate" it shouldnt b tht way..
it shud b based on experience in the game, what you hav done for the game and skill..
because who knos Viper has been here while the best were playn and was and is still hanging around..
idk bout yall but i think Viper and Vargas shud b in the HOF aswell and Nigel Benn.
