"The thing with John is that he's just so extremely accurate, both in offense and in defense. There's some punches I consider myself a master of, like the small hook and the long upper. Well they're useless against John no matter how well you throw them, he just keeps blocking 90% of them and hurting you in the process. Speaking of which...if he hurts you (and he will), you better move your head a lot because he also happens to be one of the best finishers i've ever seen. Pretty much.

But those years were so closely competitive..hard to tell.

But more times than not you go into OBW (the only title at the time) and HTF was Champ.

I wonder why it kept going back and forth. Maybe lack of players? I don't know just guessing.

Not lack of players, the would be like 10+ people online at almost anytime.
And around 25 during prime times..

People voted for like everything on the forums..
So people liked one Champ, some people like for there to be more than One Champ.

Which is where multiple rooms come from.

With that amount of players there should be more then one champ. Now when you compare then to now. Then would be more. Now would be just one.

Actually, one room was good because it showed who the best really was.
The Champ actually fought and defended EVERYDAY.

And would fight pretty much all the top guys in life for a shot..highest rank in order..and shots owed.

Its always gone like this in OB. People would get tired of having 3 champs some would defend others would sit on the title.

So people would suggest 1 CHAMP. Then after the title jumped around a dominate fighter would get the title and have it for a long time. Then others got tired of only having 1 champ so it got switched back again.

Then it would keep going back and forth, but the new reason is the lack of fighters right?
