Id like to take this moment to Call out all Old vets in the game who have posted recently of talk about re-entering the game such as Reaper my arch enemy (sterlihalla), Captain America, and also including others who have not shown their face recently or much if at all such as Red Viper, john, Tyrant and other vets, (If anyone can think of any please feel free to say so) Id like to say a hello to such people of the old days too.

I am also taking this moment to object to Yacoob's retirement and consequently Call him out of retirement to fight another day; Although I respect it if he wishes to put an end to his OB career and a stop to the game.

I would like to take this moment to show support of the idea of bringing the 1 player version (back) to the game. I appreciate you weren't happy with it Mikkel as I wasnt either however it IS a good asset to the game and helps keep noobs/people playing as well as helping them improve. As well as the other belt classes/categories on the front page which I think is set to be restored at one stage.

To see more people in the evenings, especially the good quality old school vets back on this game would be a great step in the right direction and how it once was. I think this game and Mikkel for his work deserves more respect and acknowledgement, which is why im encouraging more people onto it, and all those playing to help do so as well. I know im speaking for more then just myself and think others would agree and ive heard alot of good ideas to put the game out there. I for one will be putting its name in the odd boxing/game forum and on yahoo answers to any related questions.

I have more thoughts on each area ive mentioned especially improving ob2d's popularity however theres a time and a place and am keeping this short an sweet. I hope you respect that, as well as this post as a whole as i think it needed to be said and it's about time someone did.

peace and respect

I'll help out again and hopefully we can rack in some more people. Yeah if CA, Yacoob, Viper, Boon, Redneck, REAPER, tyrant, and maybe Larry(even though he hates my guts) come back you'll see me online more often. I agree with you Fierce singleplayer does have a role in keeping new fighters . Thats what I went for when I first logged on to OB. So Mikkel it's your decision im just trying to help out. I think a tutorial video or an interactive tutorial would help out alot of new people. Some people are self-taught, some needs to watch it and some need to interact with it you know. I do think Mikkel deserves more he made a very addictive game it kept me busy for a long time and I can try to help out with the monthly server payments.

"John represents the renaissance of OB. John stepped up and filled the vacuum Fatny left behind. Not only his skills are amazing, also his dedication to keep this game interesting and alive. I was there when he first won the title, I was watching over his shoulder when he bullied all competition, I was there when he became a HOF´er. I may not be a great fighter myself, but I do have eye for talent. John is something special, I told him right after he won his first title. John is the spark that became a flame that turned into a devastating fire. Apart from being a great guy he never stepped down from a challenge and always looked to square off against OB´s best to further improve his skills. Many HOF´ers made short comebacks during the year John reigned OB, only to be knocked out by Big Bad John." - Dick E. Boon

"The thing with John is that he's just so extremely accurate, both in offense and in defense. There's some punches I consider myself a master of, like the small hook and the long upper. Well they're useless against John no matter how well you throw them, he just keeps blocking 90% of them and hurting you in the process. Speaking of which...if he hurts you (and he will), you better move your head a lot because he also happens to be one of the best finishers i've ever seen. Basically if you're not extremely good AND creative, you'll end up on the floor. A fine addition to the hall of fame indeed." - Fatny

i'd like to give a shout out to fierce for taking time to give me tips today as welll as giving me a couple spars and coutless beatings. it goes a long way to do this for guys like me who have been away 8 years or for new people in the game. I ve seen countless new guys come and go over the last few weeks who get a serious beating and are no longer interested. we can't keep em all...but some would likely stay if given a little help along the way.

I'd like to add to the idea of bringing folks in by saying that just dropping the link on boxing videos on youtube is a easy thing for us to do. next time your on youtube throw a link in. ONe last note, i'd like to again throw the idea out of us making a forum for stables of boxers. ie i would fall into fierces camp for the help he showed me. we could divide the top vets and start camps and have tourneys that way. just a thought.

i agree with you fierce its time people on OB lead the way to a resurgence of OB hopefully make it more populated than it ever has been thus far. I've been talking to some people online and a good way to start things off with out singeplayer, and big variety of different skilled players all the time would be hard but thinking back to basics why not gyms. It seemed like back in the day the gyms got people to stay around OB. It also helped train newer fighters, uprising stars, and set up tournaments which made the whole thing better and more fun. I think OB Has lost its community if it keeps going the way it is with retirements and what not it will turn into a ghost town
